Welcome to the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad! The Phillipsburg Emergency Squad is a hybrid organization which consists of Volunteer and Paid members. The Phillipsburg Emergency Squad provides 911 emergency medical and rescue services to the Town of Phillipsburg, Lopatcong Township, Pohatcong Township, Alpha Borough and mutual aid services to surrounding communities in Warren County, New Jersey.
Volunteers: The Phillipsburg Emergency Squad Volunteers staff additional BLS ambulances, special events stand-bys and much more. Our volunteer first responders also ride with our career staff to provide assistance while gaining important hands-on experience to further their EMS career!
Paid Staff: The Phillipsburg Emergency Squad employs career EMTs to guarantee BLS coverage. These employees will ride 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Main station is split into 2 shifts; 6am-6pm & 6pm to 6am. Alpha station is staffed from 8am to 8pm.
Rescue Services: The Phillipsburg Emergency Squad - Heavy Rescue division is staffed 100% by volunteers. The rescue team specializes in vehicle rescue, rope rescue, confined space, collapse, search and rescue, drone operations and much more!
