Phillipsburg EMS is a hybrid organization of career EMTs and dedicated volunteers serving Phillipsburg, Lopatcong, Pohatcong, Alpha, and neighboring Warren County communities. For more than 80 years, we have provided 911 emergency medical and rescue services with professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to excellence.

BLS Team
We operate on a blended model that strengthens response capability and community connection.
- Career EMTs provide reliable 24/7 coverage, staffing our stations every day of the year to ensure rapid, consistent response.
- Volunteer Members enhance operational depth by staffing additional ambulances, assisting at special events, and working alongside career staff to gain hands-on experience and further their EMS careers.
Rescue and Specialized Services
Our all-volunteer Rescue Division performs advanced technical rescue, including vehicle extrication, rope rescue, confined space operations, structural collapse response, search and rescue, and more. The division also manages our Drone Operations Team, which supports police, fire, and emergency management agencies with aerial search, scene assessment, and technical missions.
